Welcome to our school.

Assumption Catholic School has been in operation since 1948. It is located in Vanier with St.Joseph Adult School in close proximity. We are a junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 school serving Catholic families within the following areas: north to Beechwood Avenue, south to McArthur Avenue and Donald Street, east to St.Laurent Boulevard and west to the Rideau River. Our motto is "Take Care of Yourself; Take Care of Each Other; Take Care of This Place." Our community of staff and students share the commitment of serving each other and our broader community in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ as we focus on living our motto. Our dedicated and caring staff work with families as active partners in providing our students with a quality Catholic education.
