Permanent Teaching Positions

The Ottawa Catholic School Board is a strong Catholic community committed to providing the best educational experience for our children where faith is central and celebrated each day.

Teachers wanting to apply for a permanent teaching position with the Ottawa Catholic School Board must first apply to the Long Term Occasional (LTO) Roster in accordance with Regulation 274/12 – Hiring Practices. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 months seniority and a minimum of 20 full teaching days to be considered for the roster.

Occasional Teaching Opportunities

In order to be considered for occasional teaching opportunities, you must be on the Ottawa Catholic School Board's Occasional Teacher List. The Ottawa Catholic School Board is now accepting Occasional Teaching applications for placement on the Occasional Teachers List.

Early Learning Services Employment

Check in with Early Learning Services to see if there are any employment opportunies within child care centres, such as Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and other administrative positions.

The Continuing and Community Education Department has on-going requirements for contract instructors and teachers within the various programs, ESL programs, Night School Credit Programs, and more.

Approved Service Providers

Our Human Resources Department manages a listing of Approved Service Providers. These commercial enterprises have entered into a Service Provider Agreement with the Board to offer fee-paying services in school facilities immediately before, during, or after the regular school day.
