Immaculata High School students took home several awards at the Ottawa Regional Heritage Fair last week. Camille Cattelan, Carly Gagne and Eileen Kennedy-Macdonald (pictured) took home the City of Ottawa Local History Award, and second place overall for their project "Le théâtre Mayfair." A trophy was awarded by the City of Ottawa as well as a $200 prize by the Historical Society of Ottawa for their project.
Madeline Bartley and Abigail McMann, also from Immaculata, received the Ontario Women's History Network Award for their project "Les célèbres cinq." The Ontario Women's History Network Award is given in recognition of a project with a primary focus on women in Canadian History. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement!
