Points are to be awarded:
· for the activities as indicated on the form available from the main office
· if the minimum hours of commitment is met
· a discretionary point may be awarded by the activity supervisor should the student’s commitment to the activity extend well above and beyond that expected. Supervisors are asked to bear in mind that one point equals approximately 25 hours of involvement. Furthermore, should a student not meet the time commitment expected for an activity, supervisors may award fewer points than those anticipated. Supervisors are asked to communicate their decision to the student, as well as to the Awards Committee chairperson.
Points are not awarded for:
· any activity for which a credit is received unless the time commitment exceeds the course requirements
· any activity for which community service hours are earned

Students are expected to submit one form per year until the 21 points are obtained.
